Lanoguard Underbody Rust Protection
Vehicle Underbody and Chassis Guide
Preparation
If this is your first time, wash the underbody using a high-pressure washer and remove any flaking rust with a wire brush.
Application
- Wait for the washed areas to dry thoroughly.
- We recommend warming the grease by placing the jar in a bucket of hot water from the tap.
- Avoid any high-speed bearing and brake disks as it is best to keep them untreated.
- Rub Lanoguard Grease onto any nuts, bolts as well as any vulnerable areas you want to protect from rust or seizing. When warmed, the grease turns to liquid and you can then use a clean paint brush.
- Then spray the Lanoguard Liquid over all the areas you want to protect against rust or water. Wipe off any excecss with a cloth.
Relax and Enjoy
While your vehicle is protected for up to one year, we recommend twice-yearly application to keep your vehicle underbody in top condition.
Lanoguard is pressure-washer resistant so you can keep your vehicle underbody clean while Lanoguard stays in place.

Lanoguard Motorbike Use
Motorbike and Chain Maintenance
Preparation
If this is your first time, wash the motorbike using a high-pressure washer and remove any flaking rust with a wire brush.
Application of Languard Grease
Lanoguard Marine and Chassis Grease is an amazing chain lubricant, protectant and chain life extender. This makes the chain smoother to drive with and reduces stretching over time.
- Wait for the washed areas to dry thoroughly.
- We recommend warming the grease by placing the jar in a bucket of hot water from the tap.
- Either brush the heated grease using a clean paintbrush or remove the chain and put it in a shallow tray and hold the chain up to drip for a few minutes.
- Allow the chain to dry before fitting to your motorbike.
- You can also use the grease as a protective anti-corrosive barrier polish on paintwork. Use a mutton-type cloth to rub and polish small areas, such as handlebars and the frame where you want a thin coat of weather protection without any tackiness.
Application of Lanoguard Liquid
- Don't apply to brake discs or brake pads, as Lanoguard is a lubricant with low friction.
- You can use Lanoguard to protect all the electrics and wiring looms from water and water ingress.
- You can also use Lanoguard on forks and shocks as it won't perish rubber or seals.
- Spray and wipe off any excess with a cloth or spray into a cloth and wipe the parts you want to protect.
- Only apply a light spray to switchgear such as indicator and headlight switches as Lanoguard will be slightly greasy to touch for a while.
Relax and Enjoy
Lanoguard typically lasts for up to one year, but we recommend twice-yearly treatments for better protection.
